 Royal Pines has three different course combinations.  The Green and Blue both include the Graham Marsh designed nine to the west incorporating smaller, undulating greens with threatening greenside bunkers and tighter fairways, a must to play if you can.  The Gold course stays true to the resort design concept.  Large flat greens and wide fairways with a wealth of clean white sand serving aesthetics rather than experience, still, you wont get any complaints from the girls playing in the ANZ Masters as, which ever course you play, it will always be in great condition.

Anything big Jack puts his name to can’t be that bad, in fact Lakelands is very good.  The generous fairways put the focus on the second shot and your club selection.  There could be three clubs difference between a flag at the front and one at the back, especially if the wind is blowing, so don’t always blame your putter!
