Is Eagle Club Membership too good to be true?
Eagle Club Membership is the real deal. Through affiliated companies such as Golf and Leisure Travel (a fully licensed travel agent) we have over 10 years experience in organising golf round bookings for golfers.
What does multi-course access mean?
TOA members can play on over 100 courses Australia wide. TOA members do not pay green fees. New courses are being added daily.
Will golf courses treat TOA members differently?
No, Tee Off members book golf like any other social golfer. Golf bookings are subject to availability. TOA members must call the golf course first to book a tee off time. As long as there is availability, TOA members can play 7 days a week. Some private member courses have limited tee times available, but as long as tee times are available on these nominated days you can book tee times and play.
What does no green fees no joining fees mean?
No green fees mean you can play the courses for free. Some golf courses have cart compulsory agreements with TOA and require players to play with carts. In these instances carts are compulsory and while Birdie Club Members (and guests) have their cart fee included in their green fee, Eagle Club Members pay a small per person cart hire fee.
No joining fees means you do not have to pay a once only upfront fee as many of the private courses require their members to pay. All you pay is your 12 month annual membership fee.
Are there any restrictions on when I can play golf?
Tee times are always subject to availability. Most courses allow seven days access, however a few of the private courses do have restrictions when only there members can play. The difference is that as a TOA member you will be able to get a game of golf at one of our many courses.
When do I have to book a round of golf?
TOA members are required to book a round of golf at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled round of golf. TOA members cannot book a round of golf more than 30 days prior to the scheduled round of golf.
Does Eagle Club Membership include cart hire?
No. Cart hire on compulsory cart courses only will have a standard $25 per person fee. If there is only one player in the cart, you pay only $25. Golf courses may require you to share a cart.
Are there restrictions on the number of times I can play a course?
Yes, Eagle Club Membership allows its members to play any one of our accredited courses a maximum of 5 times. However, you can continue to play there as many times as you like at our Birdie Club rate. This is at a significant discount to the courses advertised rate.
What discounts are there to upgrade to Eagle Club Membership?
When Birdie club members upgrade to Eagle Club Membership they get the cost of Birdie Club Membership deducted from the annual Eagle Club subscription.
Can I cancel booked golf rounds?
You must cancel within 24 hours of your tee off time with both the golf course and Tee Off Australia. If the golf course requires a greater cancellation notice period you must comply with their cancellation policy. It is advised that you ask the course for their booking cancellation policy at the time of booking your round. Failing to notify the golf course and TOA of your cancellation will result in the TOA member being charged one of their 5 rounds at the golf course or the Birdie Club rate. TOA member guests will also be charged the Birdie Club Member rate if they fail to cancel their booking with the golf course and TOA.
Can I buy an Eagle Club Membership for a family or friend?
Yes, fill in the application form here for friend and family or call 1300 TEE OFF.
Can I cancel my Eagle Club Membership?
Once fully paid, Eagle Club Membership cannot be cancelled or refunded. TOA members have a Cooling Off period of 7 days commencing on the date of either full payment of membership fees or the first payment under a payment plan. If members wish to utilise this period to cancel their membership during the Cooling Off Period, they are required to tell TOA in writing. In the event a TOA customer wants to cancel their instalment plan with TOA there will be a $150 AUSD cancellation fee charged to the customer. This amount will be deducted from the amount the customer has paid TOA for Eagle Club Membership and the remainder will be paid to the customer as agreed to with TOA. Where the customer’s Eagle Club Membership instalment payments are less than $150 AUSD, this amount will be deemed the cancellation fee and retained by TOA.
If I cannot play golf for a period of time due to sickness or an injury, can my membership be frozen or put on hold temporarily?
No, All requests for Eagle Club Membership cancellations must be made in writing to TOA.
Will I be able to play in competitions?
Each golf course has nominated competition days and you can play in them as long as you have an official Golf Link handicap. You will need to ask the golf course if their competition days are open to the public. Competition fees are payable on the day at the pro-shop when you register to play.
How can I get a golf handicap?
TOA can organise a GOLF Link handicap for its members.
The application form can be found here and there is an additional annual fee
Requirements include:
When does my Eagle Club Membership start from?
Eagle Club Membership starts on the day you activate your membership by entering your membership code contained on your Eagle Club Membership card or 3 business days after TOA has mailed the membership card.
What does per person cart hire mean?
Eagle Club Members pay a standard rate of $25p.p. If you are playing with another TOA member or guest, you will probably be asked to share the one cart by the golf course.
Motorised golf carts cater for two players at all compulsory cart golf courses.
Is there a dress code for playing at TOA golf courses?
Yes, TOA members must meet the dress code requirements of each golf course. These may vary, so it is advised to ask the golf course at the time of booking the round what their dress code is.
What happens if I book a round and do not play?
Failing to notify the golf course and TOA of your cancellation will result in the Eagle Club Member being charged one of their 5 rounds at the golf course or the Birdie Club Member rate if the Eagle Cub Member member has exceeded their 5 rounds at the course. TOA member guests will also be charged the guest rate if they fail to cancel their booking with the golf course and TOA.
What can my friends do to play golf at discounted rates?
As long as a TOA member books the round with the course, guests are entitled to the Birdie Club Member rate as advertised on the individual course page on www.teeoffaus.com.au . Otherwise, get them to sign up and enjoy the benefits of either Eagle Club or Birdie Club Membership.
